Kern is a governed host for AI agents. It gives Codex, Claude Code, Grok, and Hermes a durable workspace, shared memory, scheduled work, bundled tools, and controlled internet access. Agents write code, but they also research, run recurring work, build Apps, and act through connected tools. Kern is the host around the agent. It is not a replacement for the agent runtime.
